Keith was born in Hollywood, Florida but was raised in Cullman, AL. While attending high school Keith was quite the 'sports stud' excelling in football as the teams running back and as the pitcher on the baseball team. If asked,  he will 'boast' of his accolades on the field. While he has a love for sports, Keith has always been drawn to music. At the age of 15 he picked up his first acoustic guitar and his first instruction was given by Tony Willingham.  One year later, he realized he could play by ear and started teaching himself.  In college he picked up the bass guitar and that is where he found his 'first love' and has never looked back. Keith says, "In college I had a classical guitar instructor who would hit my fingers with a pencil until I learned to keep them closer to the fretboard." Many other musicians and bands were an influence to Keith such as Eddie Van Halen, Dokken, Dio, and The Eagles. "I also admire Billy Sheehan, the ultimate rock bass player and Victor Wooten, the ultimate funk bass player. I saw them both live and after those experiences it made me run home and slam my bass against the wall! Well....not really but I wanted too."   

In earlier years Keith has played with several bands such as Black Label, Sam I Am, and the touring alternative band Johnny Clueless. But in 2006 MP4 was formed. When speaking of his band mates he describes them as very well trained and seasoned musicians who understand the theory which is important.  He says, "These guys are like the brothers I never had. Love them!" While the band mates have a great relationship they fondly refer to Keith as the 'Gate Keeper.'  Typically I coordinate the set list and I am the clock watcher to make sure we are up on stage when we are supposed to be. They kid me about organization, I'm a stickler for everything being in its place and that our stage presence is perfect.

As well as the bass player for the band and back up vocals, he also plays the guitar and writes music on the piano. While heavy rock is his favorite he also likes funk, jazz, classical, classic rock, progressive, melodic piano and instrumental. 

A Mortgage Consultant for 19 years is Keith's profession. He lives in Pelham, Alabama. Although Keith has no pets he does enjoy the 'creatures' that will migrate to his yard from the woods behind his home as they manage to keep him entertained.
