MP4 is based in Birmingham, Alabama and what differentiates them from other bands in the area is both their VERSATILITY in their music and their level of professionalism. The thing that is most notable and truly unique about this band is MP4’s ability to shift between song styles. This, as well as their strength in musicianship and professionalism are the things that have really set them apart from other bands since their formation in early 2007.

MP4 is an “Energy” band. If the song grooves, makes you tap you feet or just want to dance, then it’s fair game for our shows.

The varied musical interests and collective backgrounds of the members of MP4 range from melodic, pop and hard rock, heavy metal, progressive rock, jazz, funk, R&B and even classical music. Their combined experience has allowed them a versatility in song lists that most bands are not able to achieve with any true level of success.

Variation in song list is considered a “Top Priority” to MP4, as we like to do what is needed to appeal to the audience. Therefore our song list is always growing and changing. Our current song list is comprised of anything from Hard Rock(80’s & current) to Dance/Funk to Modern Country to Commercial Rock.
